Deine Aufgaben
The position will take full ownership of ION’s social media channels as well as the performance of the ION online shop. Key responsibilities include:
- Manage the editorial and content planning for the online store, including coordinating product launches, maintaining up‑to‑date product information, planning seasonal campaigns, and ensuring consistent alignment with the overall marketing and brand strategy.
- Act as a key interface between Sales and Brand, ensuring smooth communication, strategic alignment, and the implementation of brand‑consistent sales and marketing initiatives.
- Taking responsibility for the performance of the ION online shop by using tools such as Klaviyo and Shopify to plan, manage, and optimize e-commerce campaigns.
- Working closely with the Performance Marketing team regarding Google advertising initiatives.
- Conceptualizing, setting up, and monitoring strategic full‑funnel paid advertising campaigns in Meta Business Suite and on YouTube — ensuring that all initiatives are thoughtfully developed, audience‑segmented, and seamlessly integrated into the overarching marketing strategy.
- Developing and executing a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with ION’s brand goals and objectives.
- Managing all operational aspects of our social media channels
- Creating, curating, and scheduling engaging content across platforms — including text, imagery, video, and interactive formats.
- Using social media analytics tools to evaluate campaign performance, track key KPIs, and deliver actionable insights for continuous optimization.
- Collaborating with external videographers and creative designers to brief, refine, and finalize visual assets
This is scheduled to start on July 1st, 2026. The position is based in Oberhaching, Germany. We offer a hybrid work model, with the option to work from home on Mondays and Fridays. The position is a fixed-term contract to start with.
Dein Profil
- Digital native with deep knowledge on platforms, tools & trends that is always up to date
- Strong understanding of social media trends, algorithms, and best practices
- Bachelor's degree or similar education in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
- Proven experience (3+ years) in (paid) social media management
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; German is a plus
- Creative mindset with the ability to develop innovative and engaging content
- Analytical skills to interpret data and derive actionable insights
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Strong identification within water action sports and an existing network in the industry are significant advantages.
