Für den Bereich ION WATER suchen wir zum nächstmöglichen Zeitpunkt einen Product Developer Set Suite - all genders.

Deine Aufgaben

Ihre Hauptverantwortung liegt in der Überwachung und Verwaltung des gesamten Produktentwicklungsprozesses, von der ersten Designidee bis zur Übergabe an die Produktion. Dies beinhaltet eine enge Zusammenarbeit mit unserem Grafik- und Designteam, dem Head of Product, dem Line Manager und dem Produktteam.
Ihr Schwerpunkt wird auf Neoprenanzügen, Neopren-Accessoires und Wassersportzubehör liegen, wobei die spezifischen Aufgabenbereiche je nach Ihren Fähigkeiten und verfügbaren Arbeitsstunden angepasst werden.

Produktentwicklung

Durchführung von Marktanalysen, Überwachung von Trends und Entwicklung innovativer Ideen/Produkte in den Kategorien Neopren und Wassersportzubehör.
Zusammenarbeit mit unserer Designabteilung zur Erstellung von Farbschemata und grafischen Konzepten.
Erstellung und Pflege technischer Datenblätter und Spezifikationen für unsere Hersteller.
Verwaltung des Musterprozesses von den ersten Prototypen bis zu den finalen Freigabemustern, einschließlich Passformprüfungen, Tests und Qualitätskontrollen.

Produktmanagement

Eingabe und Pflege aller Produktinformationen in unserem System.
Mitverantwortung für den gesamten Produktlebenszyklus, mit Fokus auf Kostenüberwachung.
Erstellung und Überwachung von Projektzeitplänen und -plänen.
Aufbau und Pflege einer starken, kontinuierlichen Kommunikation mit unseren Lieferanten weltweit.
Enge Zusammenarbeit mit den Abteilungen Vertrieb, Einkauf und Qualitätssicherung, um einen reibungslosen Ablauf zu gewährleisten.
Vorbereitung von Präsentationen für Produktmeetings.

Dein Profil

Kreative und konzeptionelle Denkweise mit einer starken Vision.
Versiert im Umgang mit der Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) und Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Starke organisatorische Fähigkeiten und ein Auge für Details.
Teamplayer mit ausgeprägten Kommunikationsfähigkeiten, insbesondere in der Zusammenarbeit mit internationalen Herstellern.
Fließend in Englisch und Deutsch.
Erfahrung in der Produktentwicklung und -verwaltung, idealerweise in der Sportbranche.
Kenntnisse in 3D-Mode-Software sind ein Plus.
Leidenschaft für Wassersport und einen aktiven Lebensstil.
Bereitschaft zu Reisen, z. B. für Lieferantenbesuche und Produktpräsentationen.
Bachelor-Abschluss in Bekleidungsdesign, Textil- und Bekleidungstechnologie, Schnitttechnik oder einem ähnlichen Bereich oder eine vergleichbare Kombination aus Ausbildung und Erfahrung.

Wünschenswert

Erfahrung in Produktdesign und -entwicklung.
Starkes Interesse an einem sportlichen Lebensstil, idealerweise im Wasser- und Windsportbereich.
Erfahrung mit 3D-Software (z. B. Mode-Software oder SolidWorks) ist von Vorteil.

For our ION WATER division, we are currently seeking a Product Developer /Manager Wetsuits - All Genders to join our team as soon as possible.

Your mission

Your main responsibility will be to oversee and manage the end-to-end product development process, from initial design to production handover. This involves close collaboration with our graphic and design teams, the Head of Product, the Line Manager, and the product team.
Your primary focus areas will be on Wetsuits, Neoprene Accessories, and Watersports Accessories, with specific responsibilities adjusted based on your skills and available working hours.
Key Responsibilities
Product Development

Conduct market research, monitor trends, and develop innovative ideas/products within the neoprene and water accessories categories.
Collaborate with our design department to create color schemes and graphic concepts.
Prepare and maintain technical sheets and specifications for our manufacturers.
Manage the sampling process from initial prototypes to final confirmation samples, including fitting, testing, and quality control.

Product Management

Enter and maintain all product information in our system.
Share product responsibility across the entire product life cycle, with a focus on cost monitoring.
Establish and track project timelines and plans.
Maintain strong, consistent communication with our suppliers worldwide.
Work closely with sales, purchasing, and QC departments to ensure smooth operations.
Prepare presentations for product meetings.

Your profile

Creative and conceptual thinker with a strong vision.
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Team player with excellent communication skills, especially in managing overseas manufacturing relationships.
Fluent in both English and German.
Experience in product development and management, preferably within the sports industry.
Familiarity with 3D fashion modeling software is a plus.
Passionate about watersports and active lifestyles.
Willingness to travel for supplier visits and product presentations.
Bachelor’s degree in apparel design, textile and clothing technology, patternmaking, or a similar field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Desirable

Experience in product design and development.
Strong interest in sports lifestyle, ideally within water and wind sports.
Experience with 3D software (e.g., fashion software or SolidWorks) is advantageous.
